Overview & Client Needs:

Amcor, a multinational packaging company, required the re-development of an existing legacy application used by their APAC staff for deals, mergers and acquisitions, and procurement activities. The app needed to address different accounting standards and handle complex foreign exchange calculations for their American and European teams. Amcor sought a centralized application that could replace multiple repositories and support their global expansion plans.

Seers Digital leveraged OutSystems to design and develop a bespoke global deals application for Amcor. We focused on enhancing the user experience for both web and mobile users while ensuring platform readiness for a global rollout. Key elements of our solution included electronic forms, business process automation, integration with Salesforce, SAP, and Hyperion, and the implementation of Power BI for complex reporting requirements.

  5. Complex Reporting with Power BI: We developed comprehensive board reports using Power BI, including synergy benchmark reports, quarterly acquisition reports, monthly management reports, business group consolidation reports, GEP reports, and initiatives by month. These reports provided in-depth insights and visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
  6. Complex Security and FX Currency Rate Conversion: Our solution addressed complex security requirements, integrating with ServiceNow and Azure AD to establish granular access controls for different business units, owners, groups, sites, and plant owners. Additionally, we implemented currency exchange rate calculations based on FX rates provided by SAP, enabling accurate financial reporting across multiple currencies.
  7. Robust Data Structure and Security: The application was built in ServiceNow, incorporating a robust data structure, workflows, and a batch-data uploader to support complex financial data management. The solution adhered to stringent security requirements based on a security matrix.
