With a shared dedication to digitalisation and tech progress, both nations are excited to strengthen their partnership and reach ambitious digital transformation aims. The MoU signing adds another layer to the educational and research collaboration between Vietnam and Australia, fueling innovation and growth in the digital realm.

As a key focus of the ministry's efforts to facilitate Vietnam's digital business community's global expansion in 2023, the forum put a spotlight on the capabilities of Vietnam's digital technology companies, some of which have achieved notable success in overseas markets, such as the United States and Japan. The robust diplomatic and economic ties between Vietnam and Australia, coupled with the substantial Vietnamese diaspora in Australia, offer favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises venturing into the Australian market.

Nguyen Dang Thang, Consul General of Vietnam in New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia, emphasized the significance of digital platforms as a transformative solution for expediting digitalisation, reducing costs, and enhancing economic effectiveness.
